Titan Rain

Schneier on Security: Titan Rain In the next few weeks I will be moving to a high-tech company primarily focused on government contract work. This article was of specific interest and I need to see if I can dig up further information about this. [Update] Guard against Titan Rain hackers Though this article is a bit stale (10/20/05) I still liked one of the final quotes: "It's up to CIOs and other IT managers to ensure that their companies practice good systems-hardening procedures, along with applying defense in depth throughout their entire organization. While people may think of Titan Rain as just applying to organizations with high-tech or national security interests, the fact is that since every organization faces the same wide threat landscape, you can't ignore basic security practices."
